PJTV Streams Climate Debate LIVE
Online media leader offers viewers on-the-ground coverage of
International Conference on Climate Change
EL SEGUNDO, CA –PJTV today announced it will stream LIVE coverage of the Heartland Institute’s 4th Annual International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC-4) – a worldwide gathering of global warming “realists” – from Chicago, IL, on May 16-18. The online television network will offer viewers videos and analysis from each keynote speaker as well as a number of the conference events.
“Climategate is hotter than ever – especially after the introduction of Sens. Kerry and Lieberman’s American Power Act,” said Roger L. Simon, CEO of Pajamas Media. “New evidence calls into question the impact human activity had on global temperatures in the 20th Century.  Nonetheless, many opinion leaders and Members of Congress fail to discuss these new scientific discoveries that dismantle the liberal agenda. PJTV is excited to bring viewers a different part of the debate than is portrayed on Capitol Hill or in the main stream media.”
Continuing their coverage of Climategate, PJTV will bring the global conference into the homes of viewers across the nation with all-day, exclusive coverage throughout the conference’s duration. The three-day assembly, entitled “Reconsidering Science and Economics,” will inform conference-goers about new scientific discoveries that force researchers to reassess humans’ impact on global warming. Additionally, economists will be on-hand to discuss calculations about the financial weight of slowing or stopping global warming, comparing this data to the perceived social benefits.
“For too long, liberals in Congress and the media have silenced half the climate change debate,” added Simon. “Just last week, for example, the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming held a congressional hearing regarding climate change. However, Republicans were only allowed one witness – Lord Christopher Monckton, climate policy expert and PJTV commentator – to counter the four individuals representing the liberal viewpoint. It is time both arguments are brought to the American people’s attention.  PJTV intends to do just that.”
PJTV will be streaming every keynote address live from Chicago, including speeches from:
·         Harrison Schmitt, Ph.D., former Apollo 17 moonwalker (Sunday, May 16 at 7:25pm)
·         Steve McIntyre, Ph.D., Climate audit (Sunday, May 16 at 8:05pm)
·         Richard Lindzen, Ph.D., Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Monday, May 17 at 1:30pm)
·         Roy Spencer, Ph.D., University of Alabama – Huntsville (Tuesday, May 18 at 7:50am)
