2012 Republican National Convention

This year’s Republican National Convention (RNC) marks the 40th Republican presidential nominating convention, and it will be an important moment in the presidential election.

Key leaders in the Republican Party will gather together in Tampa along with delegates from across the country to officially nominate the party’s candidates for president and vice president of the United States.

Speakers include Jeb Bush, Rick Santorum, Rand Paul, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Mike Huckabee, Sen. John McCain and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
