Tea Parties - When Citizen Journalism Is The Only Outlet

The event was a great success for a small town gathering. The Television News Media was out in force with channels KCBS 2, KTLA 5, KCAL 9, and KTTV 11 on the ground with trucks and crews to do remotes.

The crowd swelled to about 400 to 500 people, cars that passed by, honked in support, and only people in Government who pledged to support the constitution, vote only on legislation they had read, and vote to lower the profile of Government and it's spending, were allowed to talk from the podium.

Those that had TEXT capability on their phones were given instructions on how to instantly register for Tea Party action events and communications.

I have tried to upload photographs but the portal rejects them as being too large (over 500 KB) ... the properties file says that each photo is only about 100 KB on average.

I will keep trying to load both photo and video content.

This event was not the largest, but it was probably one of the best covered given the amount of TV Media that were able to make an appearance. This was probably due to the fact that it was the closest registered event to the local studios on PJTV.

PS - At no time did community organizers from ACORN and other federally subsidized action committees reveal themselves to the crowd to agitate the proceedings.

UPDATE:

Over 35 event photos have been posted up for the Glendale, CA, Tea Party tax protest & Government revolt event!

Am waiting for "motionbox" to finish processing event video ... it was a beautiful spring day and a wonderful crowd to be around in Glendale. It gave one the HOPE that maybe some of the people who voted for Barack Obama were wishing for. Now ... it is time for real change.

I have video of a local TV reporter interviewing someone I had been interviewing ... and I got him to give me a verbal video release in realtime.
