Videos: please practice Videos per notes below:

We will be focusing on video that you can send it during the event itself.

Please note: iPhone videos (high quality mode should be used) can typically only be about 50 seconds when emailed. Here are some ideas:

  • Interviews are great - BUT you need to practice CORRECTLY pointing the camera at people that are commenting. Look at silver  section on the back of the iPhone to get your orientation. Make sure you have the iPhone in HORIZONTAL mode (this is tricky - you need to click on the VIDEO mode and the horizontal mode soon after). You may not have time to show your self - so do a verbal intro or question - if you want WHILE pointing to the people being interviewed (with their permission of course to be on PJTV). You start the interview immediately - or have a fast lead - "this is Jim Smith for PJTV at the St. Louis Tea Party - why did you come here today? ex " of course they only have about 45 seconds or so for an answer.
  • A few background or overview scenes of crowd are also fine.
  • You can do a combo intro with the camera on you (horizontal) and then carefully turn the camera to show the crowd. "this is Jim Smith for PJTV at the St. Louis Tea Party (all of you on camera - and then carefully turn the camera) - and ask you can see a large crowd has gathered in front of ..." - Again practice these shots first !
