And it is precisely how we got into the mess that we have....Good people with high ideals and love for their country stayed away from politics because they didn;t see themselves as the vermin that inhabit the political arena. And in doing so-left the arena to the vermin. Sure there are a few that have dared to venture-but it has now become a sess pool. The rats who desired power and personal gain to the detriment of all else joyfully jumped in. As long as they had theirs. And they called to their 'friends' and others like them and said-'hey come on it, the water is FINE:)' (smile included)....
So large it has become that now it threatens to corrupt every inch, every minute, every person, every theatre of our lives....and the very existance of the nation that American's hold dear.
So it is time to step up to the plate.....Good people who love this nation-willing to put it all on the line to save her people and in doing so, her existance as well.
WE have seen how the liberal dems and the media has literally declared war on the likes of Sarah Palin....for nothing more than daring to give a damn. And she is still out there fighting. She may never run for office again-but she is and will continue to be a voice for freedom and liberty.
Michelle Bachman (Michelle-I hope spelled your name correctly!) Drawing the line in the SAND! Daring to take a stand for her constituants and all Americans against the trashing of our rights.
Doug Hoffman-standing up for conservative AMERICAN values in New York and not recieving the Republican endorsement for congress takes it upon him self to go independent....because he felt strongly enough that the message needed to be heard!
Who will be next....
In our local, city, county, state, national elections coming up in 2010.....
Who else will put their money where their mouths are?
Who else will put their reputation on the line?
Their family, their friends....?
Who will dare to go it alone and feel the wrath of the liberal leftist machine that has been built bit by bit over the last 40 years.... (almost 100 if you go back to FDR).

I recently became involved with a school calendar debate in our district.... the vote did not go as I (and many parents) not only wanted it to go-but believe with every fiber of our being NEEDS to go. Our rep went against our wishes....he is almost 70 years old and is not effect in any way whatsoever whether he voted one way or the other.......And while I believe he cares-just like congress he is not effected by the choices he makes.
So ladies and gentlemen---that is where I will begin.
I will be running for this unfortunate man's school board seat next year.
Yes it is local-yes it is small. But it is important. It is our children. And it is a beginning.

Another great site is kickthemallout.org. It has a lot of great info on how long folks have held their seats, when they're up for re-election (getting the boot), etc. I would also like to mention Ron Paul's Revolution lives on at campaignforliberty.com.
I know it probably bothers a lot of folks who aren't familiar with Ron Paul that his supporters love him and his ideas so much. Once you spend some time checking out his message, you will see what a national treasure he is.
