If anyone is interested in signing a petition against government run Healthcare the ACLJ (American Center for Law & Justice) is gathering signatures on their website. Here is a link to the petition: www.aclj.org/Petition/Default.aspx?sc=3499&ac=1

This REALLY has me scared...50 years ago this surely would be considered socialist, and unamerican. Today this is a moderate bill. What's in store for our next generation? Pure-bread socialism or communism in which case massive death toll is likely during the regime or when it falls.

I have a well thought-out idea I've been sitting on for a few months concerning what is wrong with our current healthcare system, which does not warrant universal or a public option as a solution. Most importantly, why prices are rising so swiftly under the current system. Your video has made apparent my duty as an American to publicize my idea in the hopes that I help save America from slavery to it's government. I'm going to tape a detailed video. Hopefully you Americans at PJTV are interested and can help me get some publicity for the video if you agree with me after seeing my video or an essay. I'll e-mail you through your "contact us" feature in the Feedback > General section when I make the video.

Whenever anyone from the U.S. Government speaks, you can suspect that person is lying. If the person is a Democrat, you know it's a lie.

Tragically, the majority of Americans have been lulled into a lethargic SLEEP by this government who instigated and circulated the "politically-correct" (aka: "keep your mouth shut!") mentality years ago, so if you think "mid-term elections" will be the answer to the kazillion problems of the "Middle Class," you're either stubbornly DENYING reality or TOTALLY ignorant of what's happening!

Mid-term elections will be "too little, too late" IF effective at all folks, because this rotten, reprehensible government HAS AN AGENDA and anything to help YOU is NOT part of THEIR Plan! Get it?? If not, YOU WILL, but by then, we'll already be "down the tube!"

Signed by a former IDEALIST who was mugged by REALITY!

Health care would not be nearly as expensive currently if the government would get out of it completely. Government intervention ALWAYS drives up prices. Look at how the price of "off-label" procedures, like Lasik, have gone down...like the price of the P.C., cell phone (of course, in inflation-adjusted dollars, and comparing apples to apples)--the prices of these goods have been unencumbered by government regulation, relatively, and are not divorced from the supply-demand feedback loops.

Here's a radical idea! Save every household thousands of dollars every year by ceasing the currency inflation inflicted on us by the Federal Reserve, and by draconian cuts in the size of government and the taxes required to support it. Restore our purchasing power.

Oops, that would require government to relinquish power. What was I thinking?

I swear, every time I hear more about this health care nonsense from Washington and the reports that show the real impact, I feel the urge to go ape-@#$%!

Seriously, we HAVE to vote these idiots out of office and the idiot citizens demanding these freebees so need to hit bottom. FAST.

The mid-term elections cannot get here soon enough.
