All right, in the last ZoNation, I was giving ya'll my observations on the Nephilim so as to give you some insight into my story. But before I can get to the Nephilim, we got to continue to examine who their daddies were. If you're just not tuning in, please watch the previous episode first or this won't make sense. It would be like watching Star Wars: Episode VII without first watching Dr. Phil discuss daddy issues. Anyway, as I was saying about the Book of Enoch, not everything in it passes the sniff test. Too much of it doesn't square with the Bible, not all of it, but too much of it. So I don't rely on it to tell me who the Sons of God are. For example, in the Book of Enoch, chapter 71:47 says, "The sun and the moon are of equal dimensions." It also says that Enoch was still around at over 500 years of age. But the Bible says in Genesis 5:23-24, that Enoch lived 365 years and God took him. In the Book of Enoch he's always walking with angels. Genesis says he walked with God. The Book of Enoch says in 105:6-27, Methuselah went to go talk to Enoch after Noah was born and Enoch counseled him. But according to the Book of Genesis, God took Enoch before Noah was born, and not only does Genesis say God took him, it says that Enoch was no more. No more, which means it was not possible for Methuselah to go talk to someone who was no more. The Book of Enoch says in 93:10, "When you fall, he will not show you mercy, "but your creator will rejoice in your destruction." This is contrary to the disposition of God according to the Bible. Genesis 6:6 says, "So the Lord was sorry he ever made them "and put them on the earth. "It broke His heart." Ezekiel 18:23, "'Do you think that I like to see "'wicked people die?', says the sovereign Lord. "'Of course not, I want them to turn from their "'wicked ways and live.'" God is way more merciful to us than any man who has ever lived and God destroyed the merciless to free the oppressed, like how it was with the Egyptians and the Hebrews. The Book of Enoch implicates the watchers as fallen angels. But the Bible, in Daniel 4:17, the watchers are called the holy ones. If they're referred to as holy, then that's what they are. Does the Bible speak of angels who left their first estate? Yes, in Jude, who does refer to a legit prophecy of Enoch, by the way, but in Jude 1:6, it says, "And the angels who did not keep their positions "of authority, but abandoned their proper dwelling, "these He has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting "chains for judgement on the great day." Notice they are just called angels. They are not given the distinction of being watchers or the Sons of God, just angels. And if these fallen angels, who are supposedly watchers for the Sons of God, who had been kept in everlasting chains how could they be going around getting women pregnant? Mind you, not all fallen angels are bound, just like not all criminals are in jail. Hillary's still out there, right? But those demons will face the judgement too, the can't escape that. But one would say, "Well, obviously, it was those "free roaming angels that were impregnating the women." No, the Bible says the angels were the Sons of God. Stay with me, you can't be called a Son of God and be in deliberate rebellion against Him. Some try to go on and say that it was the angels spoken of in the Book of Jude and that the angels indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh. No, at this point, it's talking about the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. And remember, in Genesis, the Sons of God married the women. Your wife isn't strange flesh. Some wives are strange, they may do strange things with their flesh, but you get the point. Strange flesh is sexual relations with something that you can't reproduce with. But angels could reproduce with the women. I know there's folks who believe that angels can't reproduce because they're purely spiritual beings. Nothing in the Bible insists that the angels are asexual and that they don't take form. The angels that came to Sodom and Gomorrah weren't floating around, they were walking. Genesis 19:2-3, "'My Lords,' he said, "'please turn aside to your servant's house. "'You can wash your feet and spend the night "'and then go on your way early in the morning.' "'No,' they answered, 'We'll spend the night "'in the square.'" Oh snap, these bodiless spirits had feet? But I guess like the Sons of God in Genesis 6:1, they must have been the Sons of Seth because angels are spirits and they can't possibly have feet. This class of angel are called the ha-melachim, which means dispatched by God as deputy angels. So not only were these actual angels like the angels in Genesis 6:1, these angels had feet to walk around with. They didn't turn into demons who somehow are made to become carnal because they're cursed to the earth. Please don't read the Bible through the filter of your own piety and try to assume that angels are too holy to have form. You're trying to add extra spiritual attributes to angels to make yourself feel more righteous. Don't do that. Jesus hates that. Peter tried that with Jesus. Peter confused spiritual righteousness and so called human righteousness and Jesus said, "Yo, get behind me, Satan." So to continue, for those who believe that angels are spiritual and have no physicality, well, not only did the angels have feet to wash, but in 19:3, Lot prepared food for them and made bread without yeast and they ate it. Oh snap, angels eat? Yeah, that's right, they have bodies to eat with. They didn't just hover in the room and sniff the food, which of course, would mean they'd need a nose, but you get the point. They ate the foods. So it's made quite clear that angels have bodies, that they bathe, they have appetites, and they eat and guess what, angels have sex. I'm gonna cover a couple of points here for those who insist that I should go by the Book of Enoch and a lot of these same people say that angels are asexual and also insist that angels don't marry. These people are telling me to read the Book of Enoch but I'm not sure if you read it. Book of Enoch 68:3-4, "These are the chief of their "angels and the names of the leaders of their hundreds, "and the leaders of their fifties, and the leaders "of their tens. "And the name off the first is Yekun. "It was he who seduced all the sons of the holy angels "and causing them to descend on the earth "and led astray the offspring of men." This goes against what Jesus said about heaven. How could these angels be having sex in heaven to have sons? These sons aren't the Nephilim, by the way, because the Nephilim didn't descend upon the earth, they were born to human women on the earth already. So anyway, y'all, I hope you're getting the idea as to why I don't rely on the Book of Enoch to define who the Sons of God are and who the Nephilim are. I go by what the Bible says.
