– Man, I don't know whether to laugh or to get frustrated. Maybe I could just laugh out of frustration when people try to argue with me by throwing something in my face as if I missed it when I just mentioned it. It's like people are so hung up on their own view of things that just the very mention of a subject will trigger a knee-jerk reaction from them to hurl their template at me. They'll unload all their opinions and try to play "gotcha" with you, as if to catch you in missing a point when I just addressed those points and verses. This why I don't trust lots of what y'all say concerning a subject. If you can't even follow along with what this simple guide just said in a video that's only a few minutes long, I'm not fully convinced that you're really following along with what the Bible said. Before we get started though, y'all, please be sure to watch the other two vids I did before this one so it'll make sense. Y'all, it's funny, frustratingly funny, but it's funny when I get self-appointed experts condescendingly saying things to me like, "Obviously you never read Matthew 22:30." They'll say this to me even though I posted that very chapter and verse in my video. If you missed that in my video, then that tells me that you missed something about that verse, and the thing that you missed is that you have to read the Bible in full biblical context. You can't just isolate scripture like that and be a selective cherry picker. It's like people who say Jesus paid taxes because he had his disciple take a coin from a fish's mouth. And since people want to isolate that and ignore biblical context, people will use Jesus to justify the government stealing from the people. Again, to zero in on that scripture is to ignore the commandment that say, "You shall not have any other gods before me," because you're assuming that the state is entitled to claim a percentage of your income before you can make an offering to God. And if you do tithe the government is violating your right to free religious exercise by invading your income before you can offer your first to God. Using Jesus to justify this also violates the commandment to not take the Lord's name in vain. You're trying to use Jesus to satisfy your selfishness of getting into someone else's pocket. It's so sad that even some so-called right-of-center people get mad when I include all this "religious crap" because they think I'm trying to push for this oppressive, theocratic government, and don't even see that the word of God is what frees you from oppressive government. I'm using the word of God to help get the government out of yo' pocket, and you curse me for it, and curse the word of God for it, but Jesus knows what that's all about. He came to liberate people and get the government and the desires of the selfishness of others off their backs, and he got nailed to a cross for it. Furthermore, concerning the selfish, who use Jesus to justify the government stealing from us, which he never did, they like to bring up that verse where Jesus tells Peter to retrieve a coin from a fish's mouth and pay taxes. Y'all, this ain't Jesus telling you it's okay for the state to take from you. This was a temple tax, not a state tax. It really sucks when people who don't even really believe in God all of a sudden believe in God to justify their selfishness. These people can all of a sudden believe that not only can coins come out of a fish's mouth. Peter is going to go get a coin exactly what Jesus said it would be worth from the first fish he touches, but you can't believe Jonah survived in the belly of a fish? I see. When it comes to trying to justify getting your hands into someone else's pocket, you believe the Bible, but everything else is just fairy tale fillers. Okay. You separation of state liberal, leftist, collectivist crack me up with that, whether it's rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's, who considered himself a god. Paying tribute to a false god is idolatry, by the way, or the verse where they brought the revenue to the apostles, not the state, mind you, or whether it's the fish with the coin, you democrat-voting socialists don't even realize that by every verse you lean on you put church and state in the same box with each other whiles saying, "Separation of church and state." The force of hypocrisy is strong with y'all. That's why you can go into so many communities and see churches all over the place, but their communities strangely don't prosper because they're being taught a liberal, collectivist interpretation of the Bible, and it stunts prosperity. Do not take the Lord's name in vain. Anyway, many of y'all do the same thing with zeroing in on Matthew 22:30. And y'all, I can admit when I'm wrong. I did a video about this, and I said that Jesus was talking to the Pharisees. Somebody contact me and set me straight, and said, "Actually Jesus was talking to the Sadducees." I was wrong and I apologize. (someone being hit) – Who was Jesus talking to in Matthew 22:30? – The sadduc– (yells before being hit) – Wrong, the Sadducees. – The juicy who? (yelling, hitting) – The Sadducees, the Sadducees (is hit). (sound slows significantly) The Sadducees. (yells, is hit) – This is a very important distinction. Y'all, when the Sadducees tried to trap Jesus with the whose wife will she be question, Jesus sets up his response by first saying, "You are in error because you do not know the scriptures "or the power of God." And he proves it. He's telling them that the very premise of their question is wrong, and their perspective is wrong. Jesus is like, "This is even more "than you not believing on the Messiah. "You don't even believe in life after death "or the resurrection as it is. "Why would you ask about what's going to happen "in a place you don't even think anyone can go to, "while holding offices of spiritual authority? "You hypocrites. "It's not going to make any sense to you "if you don't believe it. "You want evidence, "and evidence does no good "for people who don't want to accept it." As I keep reminding you, Jesus proved he was who he said he was, and he was murdered for it. Then he came back to say, "See, I told you." And people still don't wanna believe it. It's recorded that people went to a horrible death, sticking to their testimony that, "Yes, we witnessed his return from the dead." So Jesus was like, "If I answer your question, "you're not going to be satisfied. "You don't know the power of God or the scriptures. "So what does it matter to you "who a woman is going to be married to "if she's married seven times? "But you know what? Fine. "She's gonna be like the angels "that you don't believe in, mind you, "in an afterlife that you don't believe in, mind you, "after the resurrection that you don't believe in, "mind you, but you wanted me to solve the problem "of who this woman is going to marry. "That ain't the problem. "The problem is that you don't believe in the resurrection. "That's the real problem. "You don't value eternal salvation. "That's the real problem that needs to be solved, "not the issue of who a woman is going to be married to. "If you knew the power of God, "you'd know who I am, "and you'd be asking me to forgive you, "not asking who a woman is going to be married to "to trap me." And remember, Jesus could tell them what he told them in Matt 22:30 because just like Jesus said earlier, they don't know the word, and he proved that they didn't know because had they known they would have brought up the angels in Genesis 6:2 who did marry. They would have been like, "What about these angels, Jesus? "These angels married. "You implied the angels didn't marry." But they couldn't say that Jesus was in error about that because they didn't know scripture as well as they thought they did, just like he said. However, in another scenario if they did bring up the angels who married in Genesis 6:2, that would mean that they would have to consider that angels existed, and they can't do that, now can they, because Sadducees didn't believe in angels or spirits. They tried to trap Jesus, but it was actually Jesus who trapped them because Jesus showed that, "Either on one hand "you don't know scripture well enough to ask me the question "you asked me and challenge my answer "concerning marriage in the afterlife, "which includes where angels would be, "or if you try to challenge me on this "using scripture that states quite clearly "that angels do marry, "whether you think they're evil or not, "it would mean that you would have to consider "that the scriptures that you think "you're so conservative about, which you're not "because you took the liberty "of dismissing all spiritual attribute of scripture "in your actual liberal interpretations. "So just as you're not as spiritual, "you're also not conservative." But anyway, it states quite clearly that there are angels. That's right, man. Don't mess with the Jesus.
