– All right, y'all, let's bring this home. We've been examining the mystery of the Nephilim. Not a lot is said about who they are in the Bible. And a lot of people rely on dubious works outside of the Bible to fill in the space. But I'd rather get my information about the Nephilim from the Bible. The Bible doesn't say much about the Nephilim, but it says a bit more about who their fathers are. You want to learn more about the Nephilim, learn about their fathers from the Bible. Just like, you want to learn more about Jesus, learn about His Father from the Bible. (hard rock music)

Even though this series is about the Nephilim, a lot of this series has been about the fathers of the Nephilim. Why, because the Bible says more about the Nephilim's fathers than the Nephilim, themselves. Which means I have more versus to incorporate concerning the angelic sons of God. I don't have to fill in the spaces according to my own assumptions. I just point to scripture. I haven't said much about the Nephilim because there isn't much scripture to point to them with. And unlike those who disagree with me, I don't try to make up my own ideas to define who they are or go to untrustworthy books to define who they are. I stick with the Bible. Just as with many cultures, a person is often considered by whom their fathers are and their genealogy. The Bible does the same, so where you can't see a lot of information to consider the Nephilim, then consider them by their fathers according to the Bible. Now, let's do an overview of who the fathers of the Nephilim are and who they're not. First up, they're not the sons of Seth. If the sons of God are really these goody-two-shoe godly sons of Seth, then what are they doing going around having sex marathons, that's so wicked that the children that they have would be blood-feeding giants. But according to those who believe that these were the sons of Seth, they could be the nastiest nymphomaniacs the world has ever known, yet still be called the sons of God. But I'd better not dare call an angel, who became a husband and a father a son of God, like the Bible calls them. Obviously, God must be mistaken. Surely, he must have meant the godly sons of Seth who were taking superfreak to a whole new level. We're just supposed to embrace the idea that those sons of God were really just the godly, yet, super-horny humans that could supernaturally father a new giant race. But the idea of the sons of God being angels like the Bible says they are, who became husbands and fathers is just ridiculous. I'm sorry if you can't see how flawed the assertion that the sons of God are the sons of Seth is and how deep the denial is to insist that the Bible really means the sons of Seth, even though it says the sons of God. The same angelic sons of God, bene elohim, in Genesis 6:2 and Genesis 6:4 are the same angelic Sons of God, bene elohim that presented themselves before God when Satan wanted to accuse Job. And those same angelic sons of God, bene elohim, are the same angels in Job 38:7, the same term, bene elohim, the angelic sons of God are used for all the aforementioned versus. So the angelic sons of God, bene elohim, who are becoming husbands and fathers in Genesis 6:2-4, are the same angelic sons of God, bene elohim, in Job. So no, they were not the sons of Seth. And no, they were not fallen angels. Don't believe me? Okeydokey, let's look at what God, Himself, says about the bene elohim, His angelic sons. This is God talking to Job 38:5-7. "Who marked off its dimensions? "Surely you know. "Who stretched the measuring line across it? "On what words footing set, or who laid its cornerstone "while the morning star sang together and all the "sons of God, bene elohim, shouted for joy?" Now, don't you think it's be kind of strange for sex addicted, fallen angelic heathens who rebelled against God to be shouting in joyous celebration for God? Is that still not enough for you? Man, you all are stubborn. Okay, here you go, Romans 8:14, "For all who are led by the Spirit of God "are sons of God." All humans and angels. If God calls you His son, adoptive, it is because you accept who He is. You can't be a rejecter of God and be called a son of God. Those who reject God are not his children. That includes his angels, if they are in rebellion, or fallen from Him, He does not recognize them as His sons. These angels are called His sons because they're the ones who have not rebelled against Him. So being a husband and a father doesn't make you an enemy of God. Marrying without carrying about God or His statutes is what would be a problem. Now, to the Nephilim, again, I don't rely on the dubious Book of Enoch to define who the Nephilim are. I stick with the Bible. And just like I don't rely on the Book of Enoch, I don't rely on the report the scouts gave in Numbers 13:33 that y'all keep thinking is proof about what you believe about the Nephilim. As usual, I will let the Bible tell you, itself, why. You ready, "And they," the scouts, "spread among the "Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. "They said, 'The land we explored devours those "'living in it. "'All the people we saw there were of great size, "'there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Enoch, "'who are of the Nephilim. "'And we seem to ourselves like grasshoppers, "'and so we seem to them.'" That's what you all want to go by? You want to believe the scouts? Really? Even after you just heard the Bible tell you that it was a bad report. Think about it. Do you think it's wise to believe what the Bible calls "a bad report"? The word "bad" doesn't even cut it. The word in Hebrew that was actually used is dibbah, which doesn't just mean "bad report," it means "evil report." It means to lie. They didn't just give a bad report, as in they were mistaken about what they saw, they deliberately lied about what they saw. Which means they never saw the Nephilim there. They saw the Anakim, yes, but they didn't see the Nephilim. They lied when they said the Anakim were of the Nephilim. Dibbah also means to slander. They lied about what the Anakim are. Before that verse comes up, scouts report that they saw the descendants of Enoch in 13:22. Great time to establish that they are of the Nephilim, but they didn't, 'cause they're not. 13:28, they come to give another report. Great time to establish that the sons of Enoch are the Nephilim, but they didn't, because they're not. In 13:33, when the scouts can no longer contain their cowardice, they lied about what they saw and tried to make the Anakites out to be more threatening by saying that they are the Nephilim so the Israelites would refuse to fight. So for y'all who keep throwing that verse at me as if I never read it, y'all are the ones believing the words of lying cowards. The Bible tells you that they're lying cowards. They never saw the Nephilim. Y'all, the lie that they told made God so smoke snortin' angry that Moses had to beg God to not destroy them. If you were among the Israelites who believed the cowards who lied about seeing the Nephilim, then God would have poured out His wrath on you too, had it not been for Moses. The reason that the lie they told about seeing the Nephilim infuriated God so badly is because it caused the Israelites to turn against God and wail that they would have rather died in Egypt as slaves. You want to believe he lying cowards who lied and said that they saw the Nephilim? A lie that turned the Israelites against God? Oh, and made them wail that they would have rather died in Egypt as slaves? It also infuriated God because they were plotting on murdering Joshua and Caleb by stoning them. So if you all will keep throwing these versus at me, and the Book of Enoch, not only are you trusting the dubious writings of the Book of Enoch, you're also believing the dubious, oh, and evil reports of lying cowards. Even when the Bible tells you that they're lying cowards, who lied about seeing the Nephilim. That gleaming jewel of a verse that you take as proof that you think says the Nephilim were mean, evil giants tells you flat out that it was a lie. It wasn't them. Real quick, some have asked, "Doesn't the Bible say "that things can only reproduce after their own kind?" Great question. Now, doesn't the Bible say, "We will be like the angels?" I know y'all know that because you keep bringing up Matthew 22:30. Also, Luke makes a statement about that too but Luke includes how we'll really be like the angels. And how will humans be like the angels? Humans will become immortal, like angels. 20:36 says, "For they," humans, "cannot die anymore "because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, "the sons of the resurrection." Oh snap, there's another one. You can only be among the children of God if you accept who God is. That makes you equal to angelic sons of God. You become sons of God just like they are, sons of God. Humans become like angels according to Luke and angels were here before us. And the Bible has already made it clear that angels can become like us and they have the ability to take on human form. There's obviously enough likeness between angels and humans to where they're not really reproducing as two totally different species. Now, to Goliath being a Nephilim. Goliath was not a Nephilim. Though Goliath was from Gath, Goliath announced himself as a Philistine. If the Nephilim were really these evil, monstrous giants, who had an appetite for human blood, fee, fie, foe, fum, why would Goliath allow himself to be enlisted with the Philistines or anybody else? Wouldn't they be his food? If Goliath was really a Nephilim, wouldn't that be what he would rely on to intimidate the Israelites? "I'm Goliath, the Nephilim." But no, he said, "I'm Goliath, the Philistine." Y'all, nobody has a rock solid answer for what the word "Nephilim" even means. There are several tribes implicated as giants: the Amorites, the Emin, the Zamzummine, the Rephaim, the Anakim, the Amalekites and so on, but despite it not being certain what the word "Nephilim" means, and not even being sure about what words make up the Nephilim, folks are just gonna conclude that they're blood-feeding giants, according to the dubious writings of the Book of Enoch and ignore that the Bible says that they became the heroes of old and great renown. If they became heroes, then that doesn't sound like they were fallen. Or at the very least, they became legendary, mighty men. So folks who are looking at the scriptures as well as outside of scripture and trying to rely on there own understanding like the Bible tells you not to do as you try to speculate on what the word "Nephilim" means. It means fallen 'cause it sounds like Nephal. Or it's really pronounced "Nephil," which means giants, etc. It's prideful to rely on your own understanding as you try to figure out what the term Nephilim means and who they were as you ignore what the Bible just told you about them: heroes of old and great renown. Y'all, God gave us a brain to think with and develop, but He'd still like us to consult with the designer of that brain we use. Don't ignore what God has clearly written to you because you want to assume and solve what seems to be enigmatic to fit your own reasoning.
