– [Voiceover] Hey, Dr. Carson! Hey there, nice to be here with you. – [Voiceover] Alright, nice to be here. – So what do you think is the most important issue for the people of Iowa?

– [Voiceover] Well, the same as the issues for the people of the United States. The divisiveness that's going on in our nation, that's creating a war between everybody, which is absolutely absurd when we have people on the outside who are trying to destroy us.

Fiscal responsibility, so that we can shore up the foundation, the financial foundation, for the future.

And taking a leadership role in the world, because every day that we don't do that, it's gonna cost us more lives and more money.

– [Voiceover] The divisiveness, you speak better than anyone toward ending the divisiveness. So, what would you do, day one, to end this horrible divisiveness that's going on? – [Voiceover] Day one, I would call for a joint session of Congress, and I would tell the individuals in there, be they Democrats or Republicans, that we're Americans first. And let's think about the things that are necessary to get our country on the right track and put aside all of this garbage. And every time I see the garbage coming up, I would point it out.

– [Voiceover] And how would you deal with the Iran issue? What's your opinion of the deal now being made, and if a deal is made, will you adhere to it?

– [Voiceover] First of all, I think the only reasonable deal that you can make with a regime like Iran, which is the largest sponsor of state terrorism, is one in which we have inspectors on the ground at all times,

inspectors who are satisfactory to both parties,

who have complete access, 24/7, anytime they want. Other than that, there's, it's not adequate.
