– Hi, this is Roger Simon from PJTV. I'm here with Clay Aiken who has appeared with Donald Trump how many times on The Apprentice? – Well I was on it from the very beginning to the very end, so, almost 20 weeks. Quite a while. – Did you get fired? – I came in second again. I'm very good at coming in second place on things so I did, I guess, officially get fired, yeah. – You know, there are a lot of people are angry at Trump 'cause he disses them all the time, but I've heard from people who know him personally that he's actually a nice guy one-on-one, is that true? – I've never known him to be anything but nice. He's always been a very gracious person. He, except for when I lost, that wasn't very nice, but he's always been a gracious, I mean, the truth is, listen, I don't agree with very much of what he says in the political world, but he's done a decent job of making people like him in the business world and so I have respect for him as a businessman. I don't know as a policymaker whether or not I would agree, but. (chuckles) – Well, he's changed his policies a lot. Which ones do you agree with and which ones don't you agree with? – He's certainly changed them quite a bit over the years. He's double-downed on some of the stuff right now that I think is a little bit too extreme for this country and for what's good for this country, but his immigration stance and some of his positions on international affairs and foreign policy. – You're for the Iran deal letter, then. – Well, I think that we need something. I think that we need to do something and right now the status quo is not working. – Have you read the deal? – Have I read every page? Of course not. – You know why you haven't because neither has the Congress. You know that? – Well I think that the people who, not everybody, people in congress have it, have access to large parts of it.

I'm not going to get into policy debate with you today because I'm not running for anything. – Neither am I so we should, well even, but what your evaluation of Trump personally was very positive. – No, yeah, certainly think that he is. I think that as a politician, he's not probably someone I would vote for, but he is certainly a nice person as a person.

– So he's not the ogre that, say, Carly Fiorina might think he is. – Well I don't know that she thinks he's an ogre.

He might have implied something similar for her, but I don't think she thinks he's an ogre. She probably is a little classier than that. – I think she is. Okay, well, thank you very much. Clay Aiken. – Thank you.
